Stealth. Ready. Smart.

What Gart's tagline actually means

These three words represents how we think about personal security at Gart. Not the bodyguard-and-armored-car fantasy, not getting a weapon a practicing once a month in a shooting range, but a practical approach to protecting yourself, your family, and your assets in a world that gets increasingly uncertain and where threats are increasingly data-driven.

Stealth

Stealth is not about hiding. It's not about living in a bunker, ditching your social life, or pretending you didn't build something worth protecting. You did the work. You earned the right to enjoy the results.

Stealth means enjoying your wealth discreetly.

There's a difference between wearing a watch you love and posting your wrist on Instagram with a geotag. Between attending a conference and broadcasting your hotel, flight schedule, and dinner plans to ten thousand followers. Between being happy about your Bitcoin savings and showing your wallet balance to the internet. That last one sounds absurd when you say it out loud, but people do it way too often.

The distinction matters because criminals have a targeting process. They don't pick victims at random. They research. They profile. They select. How?

Data breaches feed darknet aggregate databases that link names to emails, phone numbers, and financial accounts. Social media is a goldmine - holdings discussions, conference attendance, location tags, home photos, luxury purchases, travel schedules, company affiliations, speaking events. All of it paints a picture of net worth and daily patterns. Conference attendance alone creates a three-phase vulnerability window: speaker lists and VIP rosters before the event, badge photos and hotel lobby sightings during, and predictable travel patterns after. Blockchain analysis and KYC links wallets to identities. Insider information from friends, employees, household staff, and associates accounts for an estimated 15% of cases of kidnapping involving prior acquaintance. Media appearances in interviews, podcasts, and articles turn private individuals into public targets. Public databases for asset reporting, property, and business registries fill in the rest.

Sometimes, no research is needed. When your own kin, friends or acquaintances talk too much - an opportunity presents itself to ill-willed strangers.

AI is accelerating crime, both online and in the physical world What used to require a dedicated surveillance team now takes a laptop and a few hours of AI powered research. The barrier to entry for targeting someone and the time to collect valuable information has effectively collapsed.

"I worked hard, I deserve to enjoy my wealth" - that's a fair thought. It just needs one more word: "I worked hard, I deserve to enjoy my wealth safely."

That's what we mean by stealth in our tagline. Not paranoia but professionalism in your daily life. Discretion is a long-term security strategy, not a lifestyle compromise.

Stealth reduces your exposure. But no amount of discretion eliminates risk entirely.

Ready

Ready doesn't mean living with anxiety. It means taking active control of your personal security instead of hoping you never need to think about it.

By end of July 2026, over 350 documented physical attacks on cryptocurrency holders were cataloged by Gart Research at stats.gart.io - the most comprehensive database tracking wrench attacks t worldwide.

To build this database we first studied over 250 individual cases, catalogued them by country, date, fatality, by typical scenarios like home invasion, kidnapping, social engineering, peer to peer trade attacks, costly fame and by violence types used. The database helped us understand how these scenarios typically unfold, see patterns and understand the attacker's calculus - what they're optimizing for, where their weak points are, and how momentum shifts during an attack.

Good advisory requires our trainers to have a good understanding of the threat.

From there, the next step is building a personal threat assessment. Your risk profile is unique. It depends on your public footprint, your asset exposure, your travel patterns, your living situation, your family structure. That's one of the first steps our clients take during Gart Training programs. Across four focused 90-minute sessions designed to turn knowledge into practical skills and habits.

The goal is a new security posture - not rules you memorize and forget by Thursday, but habits you internalize. How to spot surveillance and react before it escalates. How to move through your day with a new awareness.

And critically, readiness means developing response protocols. What do you actually do when something goes wrong? Panic is a natural response when there's no plan.

Composure under pressure is a trainable skill. Knowing who to alert, how to alert them, and what to do in the first sixty seconds of a crisis or in the days and weeks following an incident. All that could make the difference between victim or safe.

We train people to be ready, calm and composed.

Smart

You've reduced your profile. You've trained your awareness. You've built response protocols. Now you need the tools to actually execute them when it counts.

Smart means using practical, privacy-first technology to make sure you can be found by the right people when you most need it. That's the Gart app, a way to covertly alert your safety network and trigger your response protocols on one tap, when it matters.

Most alert apps and devices want your phone number, your email, your address book. Some want your family's data too. They track your movements, log your alerts, read your messages and in some cases sell your data to advertisers. Which seems to defeat the purpose of a security tool, but here we are...

We decided to build Gart differently.

Private Alert System. Our app doesn't require your phone number, your email, or contacts of your family to work. Our split-key cryptography - separating your main Gart identity from your alert system identity allows you to log in with your existing Nostr identity without compromising yourself. For any new users without a Nostr ID, the app automatically creates one. After logging in, you can invite people who care about you to a private group, via encrypted invites and messaging. Your alerts are encrypted too and only readable by your watchers

Zero Tracking. We can't track your movements. We don't log your alerts. We can't read your messages. That makes Gart absolutely unique in the space of alert apps.

Reliable and Resilient. Your alerts travel through a decentralized relay network, independent of Gart's servers, immune to censorship, with no single point of failure or attack. Unlike other "security systems", Gart is not creating a honeypot.

Your Protocol. You choose who gets alerted and how. You control the response. Not us. Not authorities. Gart allows you to set up response protocol that is shared with your watchers when it's necessary. The group chat allows then for your watchers to coordinate, following your response protocol.

That's how we imagine Smart. Not another app harvesting your data in exchange for a false sense of security, but a tool that protects your privacy by design and stays out of the way until you need it.

When Gart app, you ask? Now. We promised it last year and were badly wrong about the timing. So we stopped promising and kept building something that makes sense, and it is finally here. The beta is open, on Android for now. Download and test it at gart.io/app.

A final though on building Gart app: We are building an alert system that we hope people will never have to use. And that's OK. We don't aim for millions of clicks, likes and engagement. We aim to help you to live a peaceful life.

Just three words.

Stealth: enjoy your life discreetly. Make privacy a professional habit.

Ready: take informed action. Build awareness, skills, and protocols.

Smart: use practical, privacy-first tools. Stay in control.
